Meet the Maker

Graham Wilson is the founder and owner of GW Furniture. He is a Cabinet and Furniture-making department graduate at North Bennet Street School (NBSS). While there, he learned the fine art of furniture-making and the intricacies of cabinet building. Graham's education at North Bennet Street School has been invaluable in honing his skills and expanding his knowledge of the furniture-making craft. He had the opportunity to learn from some of the best furniture makers of our time, and he brings that expertise and dedication to every piece of furniture he creates. As a kid, Graham spent a large portion of his high-school education building theatre sets for a non-profit organization and tinkering with power tools in his parent’s shed. His experience in theatre set-building gave him a unique perspective on the importance of hard work, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Before enrolling at NBSS, he took some time off to get more experience in his craft. He took a job working for a local business that manufactures stair treads, where he now works as a manager part-time. In addition to his passion for furniture-making, Graham enjoys photography and reading in his spare time.
